Our fluid bodies need -well- fluids so they do not become rigid and hard.  Drinking water first thing in the morning on an empty stomach has great benefits.  I recommend drinking it warm (to protect the spleen) with a small amount of Himalayan sea salt added to it to guide it to the kidneys and help increase absorption.  Wait 45 minutes before consuming other food or liquids.  This has been found to be useful for all kinds of maladies such as arthritis, high blood pressure, digestive issues, head-aches, eye-diseases, and menstrual cycle irregularities.  Charging the water in the morning with your intention (sankalpa) for the day is a great way to focus your qi and then bring that intention into your body. One could do this through prayer, Reiki, crystals, or putting the jar of water on top of a written intention – be creative.
