Andrei and Simone
Andrei is an acrobat, yogi and bodyworker. He recently moved to the bay area from Washington DC to deepen his study of the healing arts. He is a graduate of Mckinnon Body Therapy Center in Oakland where he studied various modalities with a focus on Asian systems and Craniosacral therapy. He is a student of the Wu Wei School of Reiki and is continually fascinated by how Reiki informs not only his bodywork and yoga practice but his entire life. He is currently studying Acupuncture and integrative medicine at AIMC Berkeley. His spiritual journey started 10 years ago with his practice of Shaolin Kung Fu and Capoeira. He was inspired by the philosophical and spiritual aspects of the martial arts and fascinated by the energetic and spiritual anatomy of the body. His practice shifted inward to include tai chi, qigong, yoga and meditation. Once he was introduced to yoga, it became his primary physical and spiritual practice. In 2009 Andrei completed the Life of a Yogi teacher training with Sri Dharma Mittra. His bodywork practice grew out of his yoga and meditation practice and continues to deepen with his study of Reiki and Chinese Medicine.
Simone is an artist & healing artisan. In the context of a session, Simone is interested in honoring that we are inherently whole & perfect & having this as the focus while seeking to honestly look at the areas of our beings(body/mind/spirit) which may have become imbalanced & can benefit from being tended to & brought back into balance. Loren Wheeler
Loren has been trained in Structural Integration, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Swedish, Acupressure, Reiki, Craniosacral Therapy, and Myofascial Release, and has been a licensed and practicing bodyworker in Oregon and California for 6+ years. However, his depth of knowledge stretches far beyond this period. He has been in what he calls a “lifelong apprenticing program” with his mother, Sandra Wheeler, who at has been practicing bodywork for 28+ years and has been giving Loren sessions and training in Craniosacral Therapy, Myofascial Release, and Biodynamic Cranial Touch his entire life. This direct experience has infused in Loren the knowledge of what it means to live in ease and fluidity, a depth of wisdom he brings to every session in an open and compassionate way. Because he believes in prioritizing accessibility, his Biodynamic Cranial Touch sessions are all by donation, with suggested donation amounts.
Life expresses itself as motion. At the cellular level, tissues in our bodies “breathe” with this motion, and this subtle movement can be palpated with sensitive hands. The existence of these subtle rhythms was discovered by osteopath Dr. William Sutherland over 100 years ago. Dr. Sutherland recognized that the circulation of fluids through the body carries with it a natural ordering principle. When allowed to circulate unimpeded, these fluids provide all the nutrients and information that we need to maintain a natural state of health. Through our daily lives, however, we accumulate what are referred to as Inertial Fulcra, areas of collected stress or trauma that impede the natural movements of the body, and the circulation of these important health-carrying fluids. These areas of restricted flow are encouraged to dissipate when a practitioner brings presence and sensitive palpation to a client, working together with the body’s natural healing response to return it to a state of health. This practice has come to be known as Biodynamic Cranial Touch, a term introduced by Charles Ridley. Because this work deals with areas of restricted movement of any kind, it lends itself to healing a very wide array of imbalances, especially those wherein the nervous system is especially distressed. This can include, but is not limited to, car crashes, a fall of any kind, emotional traumas of any kind, physical abuse, repetitive stress injuries, or childhood traumas. Through Biodynamic Cranial Touch, the body is given the support and resources it needs to heal.

Terri Landey
Terri Landey believes that the biggest obstacle to real joy is self-judgment, and is dedicated to assisting people to release their judgments and move into emotional harmony and balance. She utilizes her intuitive skills and clear, non-judgmental presence to facilitate the release of deep layers of stored self-judgments and uncover the story ‘behind the scenes’ of our awareness, leading to transformational leaps into greater self-love. She believes that once we release our judgments, everything in our experience is free to realign, and our outcomes are directly affected as a result. Terri is a certified EMF balancing practitioner and an ordained non-denominational spiritual minister. She completed a four year Mastery course in Consciousness Studies with Judy Christenson at the Life Resources Institute in 2004, and has successfully assisted many people to fall more in love with themselves and their lives. She can think of no better experience than to know oneself fully, and has a deep respect and passion for the untidy, complicated, rich and chocolate-y human journey.
